Hello Friends,

We're excited to welcome fall and have been busy tackling some projects that we've put on hold for the summer.  We love using Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint best for giving home decor and furniture a makeover!

Each month Miss Mustard Seed features two milk paint shades ... the colours for September are Shutter Gray and Mora.

"They’re soft, subtle and completely gorgeous!"

Shutter Gray

Shutter Gray is one of our favourites.  It’s a French blue/gray that has a faded quality about it.  It’s named for a pair of antique gray shutters Miss Mustard Seed found at an antique store.

For a pale blue gray, mix Shutter Gray with Grain Sack.  It pairs well with Mustard Seed Yellow and Linen.

Mora is named for the famous curvy clocks made in Mora, Sweden.  It is a whisper of a colour – a neutral with grey, blue and green undertones.

We love these two colours and decided to do a couple projects to showcase them.  Rebecca decided to paint the clock she found at a second hand store with Mora (fitting as its inspired from the clocks in Sweden) and a picture frame in Shutter Gray for one of her art pieces.

Rebecca's favourite places to hunt for treasures is the Foothills Salvage Centre and the Okotoks Missions Thrift Store.

"The cutest, littlest handle ever seen before."

This clock is getting an Aussie facelift :)

The Shutter Gray frame looks so pretty with Rebecca's Adventure mixed media art print.

Love how the Mora turned out!  Sweden + Australia = one cool clock
